Eibach question

Did some searching last night and wasn't able to find anything on the Eibach sportlines other than people bottom out occassionaly in the rear.

I noticed some people had put them on their LS or LT HHRs but didn't see anything on a SS.

I know the Eibach Pro kit drops the car about an inch and a half or so but the Sportlines advertise more of a drop. Not really worried about the bottoming out part, we've got decent roads where I live.

Just trying to go as low as possible without buying coilovers and the Eibach sportlines are pretty damn cheap.

Thanks guys

Welcome. I tried getting Eibach for my SS, but they aren't available. Eibach only make them for the LS and LT models, with an inch drop in the front and 1and a half in the rear. Pedders are your only choice.

I'd just use the Cobalt Eibach's. The spring rates will be a little different but whatever. Like I said, the roads are decent here so I'm not worried about that too much.

The Cobalt Eibach's will fit the HHR

Pro kit Eibach springs we carry fit all HHR models. Eibach sportlines do NOT fit... (well they do, but are not recommended due to the heavier back end on the HHR)

Pedders are better than Eibach FYI.... We do want to state this, even though we do carry both.

Several months ago Eibach used my 2006 HHR 2lt to design new springs for the HHR, a few weeks ago the Design Engr. phoned me and wanted me to come in and they would install their new springs, I have the Progerrisve which lower the back 2 1/2 in. and the front 2 inch, I asked Eibach how much their new springs would lower my HHR he doesnt know. I may contact him and let them install their new springs on my car????
