I finally got rid of the front end clunks that have plagued me since I bought the HHr 2 years ago. Last year replaced the sway bar links and bushings. Still clunks. Got sick and tired and picked up some quick struts and some control arms. Installed tonight and the gremlins are gone for now. When I inspected the arms,(97K) I could find nothing wrong with them. The bushings were in great shape and the ball joint was tight. I can't believe the struts were the culprit. But right now I don't care. Having a beer or two and enjoying being FREE AT LAST.
