HHR ss lowering???

New to the site.. don't know much about cars but I do have a hhr ss. Looking to lower it and don't know what to go with. Looking to spend around 300 $ . I know coilovers can be pricey so just rather go with another setup!! Pls help!!!

YYZ springs with your stock shocks and struts works well, they ride really close to stock, no bounce.

YYZ springs are a good choice. Just be advised there are 2 different versions of those. (SS fan. Tell him which version is best)

Pedders are what I have. They have a little more bounce in the fronts. Also, some have had issues with the Pedders making a clunking noise. I don't have any noises from mine but mine are a redsigned newer style.

I believe the v.2 is around 1" drop. They are available from crateenginedepot.com

I heard they have a third version. I just changed the struts and shocks to KYB with the V1 wow it's a perfect match. I think it is too high for an SS, but it is so sweet for my work truck. If I were to pick some for my next SS......V3's with koni struts and shocks. Try them out for me ...

Banshee has the V2's with fe5, loves them. I drove it, handles great. Looks pretty good too.
