Thumbs up I got my Slotted and Crossdrilled rotors today.

This is my first Tech article on this forum so bear with me. I have been looking for something to give me a little better stopping power, and looks without spending a thousand dollars. I came across a local shop Raceshopper.com that has these rotors for the HHR.

First a pic before I started breaking things.

I jacked up the drivers side and removed the wheel.

Removed the caliper.

Removed the bracket and the old rotor and set them side by side for comparison.

Installed the new rotors and reinstalled the brackets and calipers.

Reinstalled the wheel and set it back down.

I followed the break in procedure, and wow what a difference. They cost me about $250 , $650 less than anything else I could find.

Dang, I can't see. My work has a firewall block for the WebShots hosting site. Gotta wait to see them when I get home!

Nice...not a bad price either. Did they have a kit for the rears? Keep us updated.

I asked about the rear, they said they do not sell conversions for the HHR.

Looking good mike maybe you can work with a company to come out with a rear disk conversion kit.

They look good! More meat and cooling surface.
I'm interested in that set up , but even more interested in getting discs in the rear.
Do the Cobalt discs fit? I'm assuming the Cobalt Turbo has four wheel discs. Or what should one look for in discs for the rear?

I put Mitsu disc brakes on my 1964 Corvair, so this stuff can be done.

It's a super charged Cobalt SS. I'm not to sure if they will fit. It would be cool finding some at a junkyard if they did.
