KW Coilovers Variant 1 Suspension help

Does anyone have any information on the KW coilovers variant 1?

I have the BC Coilovers but they are just too bouncy for my taste. I feel like they didn't change the spring rate from the cobalt to our cars.

Keep in mind I have a 09 SS.

Thanks for the help!

Their bouncy cause their for a lighter car! Also check your shocks and struts (cartridges) they should be controlling the bounce!

This might help

And this about bounce

You'll see in this link, there aren't any listings for the HHR SS,?that doesn't mean they won't fit, however they may be the wrong spring rate.

Now, I believe adjusting the dampening will help the bounce.

There is a member on here with the KW v2 who raves about them. I too have heard that the BC coils are a bit sloppy

Woah, that is some serious coil bind in the rear!

Found this listing for the HHR LT , they don't list the SS

BC doesn't list the SS as well but I don't think it matters since you can raise and lower them.

I saw, I am looking at a seller selling his brand new v1 for 850. That's why I am considering the v1 and not the v2. Can't be that much of a difference.

The V1, variant the damping is preset!

With both the BC and the KW the ride height is adjustable, but you have to replace the springs to increase the spring rate for the heavier HHR.

And yes the KW do list the HHR LT which sits 2 inches higher then the SS, so essentially you would be lowering your SS.

I have KW coilovers variant 1. Have been daily driving them for the last two months. The ride is bit stiffer than stock, but realy not that bad.

But how are they for bounce? Are they adjustable?

you can adjust ride height, but shock and struts are preset from factory, they are not adjustable.
