Leveling SS

What are the options for leveling my SS to eliminate the factory "rack"? My measurements show the rear sets exactly one inch higher then the front. I have read numerous positive posts from those who have used Pedders springs. Would Pedders rear springs be the best (only???) option to level an SS?

'Lil Red Wagon;435118]I'm using '08 Cobalt SS/TC rear springs for the 1 inch needed to level my Panel Wagon. Read on in this section, there are a ton of guys who know a lot on this subject.

Notice, he has a SS.. so using the cobalt springs probably won't do anything except gain experience in spring replacement training.....and it may actually be a lesser rated spring because of the weights
Pedders, yes,,,these were made specificall y for the SS.. and as far as I know the only ones to do so..all the rest are for the LS/LT HHRs( and the manuf will not commit to saying these will work with no problem on the SS) . Though there were some that did goldlines and said they work great....read read and read....THEN determine..

Woody-
I think 'balt SS/TC rear springs will lower it:

According to a knowledgable SS owner (here), that informed me the SS sits 6mm (.23) lower than an LT stock. So he said using the SS/TC rear springs will lower his SS rear bout 3/4" (according to him)...And that's what he is doing.

Spring rates, the SS springs are gonna be higher.. Certainly stiffer..

Now I would bet the SS/TC spring rates are higher than GLs' are.

But I'm pleased with SS/TC on back of my 2LT Panel & it went level at 1" ...
Lower CG, better handling & then added a Rear Sway Bar & I'm good ta go...

Hmmm..wil have to watch this....though personally I think the stock rear SS springs need to be a tad stiffer, or at least a better shock, but, thats me.....
