Looking to get airbags. at least in the back but would like FBSS

alright so im looking for airbags that go from stock to low (preferably slammed)

i would like an FBSS kit but just the back for now if it's too expensive

I am new to airbags and have no idea what to get, where to look or how to install anything but I'm sure it can't be too hard?

also wondering if I can HOP with bags or would I need a certain air line or bag weight or PSI or something?

Maybe you know, but just in case.
Together with the replacement of airbags you need replaced the control module and seat belts (Also the control module can be reprogrammed).

As for the bags.
My opinion - you need to use second-hand bags. It is much cheaper without compromising quality.
On Ebay and demolitions sites I've seen kits "bags + control module + belts." Buy a kit cheaper than each part separately.
U.S. auto dismantlings united in the association, so there is an All American on-line search for parts. Unfortunately, I do not remember the name of a "search site", but you can find it easily.

I believe he's asking about suspension air bag system, not SRS air bags

Yeah. that's why it's in the suspension section

also. $2000 is probably a bit extreme. maybe just some lowering springs so the top of tire is at the top of fender?

You could do coilovers...this is what I plan to do with mine. There's not an aftermarket spring that will put the tire on top of fender. You could always just cut the factory springs to the size you want. If you want to do it right, get a set of coilovers.

Cutting progressive springs (HHR type) is not a good idea.

FE5 springs.Fronts on the left. Rears on the right. Don't see an easy way to cut down these springs to lower the ride height. The tapperd end has to fit onto a mounting knob to hold them centered. Better to replace them with lowering springs.
