What brand of lowering springs will get you the lowest look, I have LS model with 16's

 

If you look in my gallery, I think I have pics. I started with an LS with 16's and then stepped up to 17 x 7.5 with Pedders springs (FE5 shocks and struts too). You can see the difference and it's probably settled just a little bit more since I took the pics

 

Im sure you are aware, just an FYI. The hhr will hit on a lot of curbs and bottom out over big speedbumps when lowered. Even with the stock setup the front bumper sits lower than most cars. Dont get me wrong I love the look of them when lowered. I personally went with leveling springs.

 

^I can vouch for this. I've installed a new lower lip as well so I rub every speed bump. If I dont creep over the bumps...I'll bottom out on it. I love the look and it's totally worth the sacrifice.

 

yeh im aware of the risk but the look is worth it to me. I heard gold line was the lowest but that was gen 1 not sure about gen 2

 

Yeah gen 1 gold lines are the lowest from what I've seen but very hard to come by. I'm running Canuck motorsports springs for a cobalt ss. It sits pretty low but I'm going to be adding coilovers soon.
