My testimony!
My testimony!
You know the old saying "Take a picture it will last longer" Well here is how I spent a recent Sunday. Thanks to all the info provided on this site, I was able to change out the lower control arm, a hub, sway bar links, tie rod ends, brake shoes rotors and a caliper on my Wife's 2007 HHR. This is just the passenger side, driver side looks the same minus a new caliper. Thanks again for the price less info. Already have noticed a difference in gas mileage, filled up Monday Morning and already have 200 something miles and nowhere near a half tank of gas! Amazing!!!!!
Take in consideration this car has seen alot of rough(really Rough) road!!
Yeah Caliper was sticking and that ruined the rotor, lower control arm rear bushing was bad causing the car to pull hard to the right, sway bar links were shot and the tie rod ends on the steering gear were worn out! They were so bad that after I broke the nuts loose on the tie rods I had to take a pair of pliers to keep the studs from spinning in the ball joint socket while I finished taking the nuts off. And I had to literally beat the hub out of the knuckle and clean all the salt deposits out of he knuckle after removal, so I am glad I had already purchased one of those before hand. LOL! New ceramics up front and new shoes in the rear all properly adjusted. So maybe it all will last longer than the cleanliness!
