I hate to bring this up because ive read alot of the responses already on the break pulse prob. I have an 08 lt and i too have this prob but if i just sneek up on the pedal it doesn't seem as bad as if i have to jamb them on and then and every time after that the wheel wants to jerk out of my hand. Now ive seen suggestions from turning the rotors to rebuilding the front end. I've been looking into drilled and sloted rotors and was wondering if this may cure the so called overheating

Welcome to the site

I have never used drilled rotors but keeping the rear brakes adjusted helps.

Also there is a tsb about adding rotor shields to protect them from the road salt and other abrasives that ware on the rotors.

Welcome!

Your description sounds more like a suspension problem than a brake problem.

Welcome to the site! I've used the drilled and slotted rotors, waste of money and time!
My resolve was larger SS rotors , new LCA bushings and keeping the rear drum brakes adjusted!!!
