New Springs

Goldlines came today I have to wait now to get them put in. Any tips on this? They seem easy enough but I was wondering if there are any pitfalls to watch out for?

Do you have the rear leveling springs or the front and rear lowering springs?

Then you won't be very happy. GL 1st gen lowered quite a bit more than the 2nd gen.

Only way to slam an HHR now is to bag it or find some 1st gen Goldlines. Even those,GL's, weren't truly slammed, just as low as it gets with what's out there. Here's a pic of mine on 1st gen GL's (16" rims).

Not exactly slammed, but low enough that with the side outlets for my exhaust, I had to take em off. Kept scrapping going in my driveway! After breaking a few welds on the hangers they had to go, my car don't park in the street!

This is now on Eibach's (18" rims), not as low. About an inch higher than the 1st gen GLs.

Someone here used the Eibach Sport set for the Cobalt, the HHR apps are the Pro Kits, and they drop lower.

well I'll give them a try, only one way too find out. If unhappy I'll go with something else or modify what I got! Hopefully I'll get them on in a week or so.
