I agree, I have replaced the rotors on my 08 three time and turned them mutable times. Last summer as an experiment I installed brake rotor shields per a tsb from GM along with napa rotors. So far so good.
We will see how it is after winter time. I'll keep you posted.

I believe it is the weight distribution.
