Rear Coil Springs from Moog Replacement for CobaltSS

I googled the CobaltSS rear springs part number 10390024 and came up with this part from Moog CC81065 made in the USA. I measured before I installed them and they did lower the rear a 1/2 inch. I paid $26.58 for the springs and $10.99 for shipping from CARID. it has made a difference and I like it. Now I need to figure out what I what for new rear shocks.

If the shocks still have some movement in the down direction it should not matter. You may need to bind the springs into the mounts so they don't fall out.

You don't say what suspension you have to start with.
FE-1 or FE-3 ??

The GM Cobalt SS/SC 10390024 will lower at least 1 1/2" when settled.

That comes close to level on most FE-1 suspensions.

How is it you only got 1/2" with a Moog spring that shows a replacement for the SS/SC ?

From the Pic's it looks like you got it pretty level.

Normally a 1/2" drop would not be worth the effort.

Also, what is your opinion on the "ride and handling" of the Moog springs?

I would use either the KYB replacement or the GM FE-3 shock if it were me.
