I'm currently rolling around on front and rear SS/SC springs. The rear is a little to soft, and is slightly higher than the front. I rolled around on SS/SC rears and stock fronts for a day, and it had reverse rack.

I have SS/TC springs, and will be comparing them hopefully this weekend.

Shadow, what springs did you install in the rear?

Sleeper-

Did your TC springs level you out or are you slightly higher or lower? Can you recall how much more sag occurred? I'm not concerned I like the look and feel a lot more j/w. Just wondering how the results have varied so much, but I guess a full tank of gas would even give you different numbers.

I'm almost perfectly level (just a tad higher in rear) , initial drop was 1", couple yrs later, 1-3/16" drop. (so sag was only 3/16" to date) a sign of a good quality spring imo.. This was checked (each time) with about the same amount of gas & tools on board. I'm kinda fussy that way..

The ride is fine & I haul stuff, so that is cool too. I did not cut the bump stops & have never bottomed out.

What results are so varied you speak about ??

It sounds like others in this thread stated they sit lower in the back. Do the SC springs sit lower than the TC?

Anywho... I got in a good night of thrashing the HHR and the suspension feels really good. I am very pleased with the new springs/shocks. Way bigger difference than the TTR sway bar I put on a week ago. Still a fair amount of understeer on hard corners, but the new rubber will be here next week and I think that will put a stop to it.

Yes the SC springs are softer & sit lower, my Bud has them & his dropped 1-1/2" after install.. Before sag. He likes the extra soft ride, but to me it looks too low in rear.

I agree with you, Springs made a Bigger diff than my 1" rear sway bar.
mine is the FE3 set-up, so I just changed springs to TC.

Yes better tires is a big help also, some day I'll get some..

Cool that you're digging the TC springs.. I sure am pleased with mine..

I kept the stock springs I just put the U ring spacer under them to raise the rear of mine 1 inch to give it a nice rake. haven't noticed any real differance.
I did catch a judge at a show looking under my ride & asking is this rear wheel drive ?
Just wanted to tell you if you were going to use spacers to use the rings and not the little blocks you shove in the springs ( they can damage your springs over time )

It seems to me, you have some confusion about adding TC springs, they lower the ride.. Just rite imo..
