Just finished upgrading the brakes on my 2010 LT. Thanks for the info in this thread. The swap went without a hitch.

So I need a SS spare tire? Is the SS spare bigger??

I believe the SS owners with the Brembo's have to change the rear wheel to the front flat and put the spare on the rear!

That is true Oldblue. It may also be the same procedure even with the non-Brembo set up. This from the owners manual:
Removing the Flat Tire and
Installing the Spare Tire (SS Model)
The SS Model has larger performance brakes than
the Base Model. The compact spare tire will not clear
the front brakes.
Do not use the compact spare tire in the event of a front
flat tire.
You must use the rear tire to replace the front flat tire.

I know some of you guys run 16's after doing this SS rotor conversion, but I wonder if anyone has checked to see if the compact spare will fit up front ?
The spare rim being thinner and a different design,,,well, it just makes we curious.
I would hate for someone to suffer a flat and find out the hard way that the compact spare won't clear the "new" brake setup.
Maybe someone should clarify this or try it.

I have the non Brembo SS 11.65 inch brakes and the 16 inch steelies fit, but the spare tire doesn't fit, I'll have to do the front to rear swap if I get a flat!

Wow I can't believe it ok thanks for the info
