I looked up all years, and only saw the 10.86 listed. I'd be curious to why his was different. As far as shock/struts, most only show the FE3 series period. You can't even find the touring shocks/struts outside of the dealership.

 

Guess it is possible my SS had small ones, the brembos were an inch bigger. The rotors off the SS and the ones on the panel are the same size, they work great so I left them alone.

 

What year is your panel? I'd like to look that one up. I looked up each year for the panel with the 2.4 and everyone stated the 10.86 rotor. The rotors I purchased for for an 08 non Brembo SS and were almost an inch bigger then the standard rotors.

 

I saw that you had said about 150 for all the parts, but how.much were the parts individually? Brackets mostly. You said you found them on Ebay? Cool swap and write up.

 

Don't remember exactly, paperwork is in the garage someplace. But they were around $25-$30 apiece if I remember correctly. I just searched for "2008 HHR SS caliper brackets). I think I got the rotors for about $70 for the 2. Pads were somewhere around $40. NOt sure if the prices are still the same or not. I just picked up pieces as I was able to find the better prices and after I had everything, still waited several months to put it all on....

Yes it does.....

Well, that lists a 10.86" rotor. But that's not saying what they actually put on it. Maybe there was an SS in line before or after it and it got the wrong brakes....

 

Don't feel like digging the box out, but that might have happened to the SS.

I measured my '08 Panel 2LT stock rotors a few years ago when I painted calipers. IIRC, they are about 11.7"

That's 0.86" bigger than the 10.86" rotors you listed..

I think Brembos are like 12.5"

solman- What size are the SS rotors you just put on ?
