Swaybar end links

I have a 2006 LT 2.4. 5dr none ABS. Auto I'm having to replace swaybar end links for the 2nd time in a year first ones where moog. The ones I have bought now are A.c. Delco. I replaced the bushings the two struts complete the ones I got I was told took the 9.3/4 length not the longer ones is this true ? Is there a code in the glove box I can go too to get the chassis code ? Also I was told there was a factory recall for the steering? The new links are Delco # 19237776 those are the shorter ones ! But I also got the longer ones just in case Delco # 19148626 can anyone help me with this ?

Hi mryuk, to the forums!

Sounds like you have the right end links. No recall, but an extended warranty.

EDIT: You edited your post while I was replying. I'll research those numbers and be right back

OK, the 19237776 is correct for 2006 HHR. Discontinued, but correct, so if you have them, they'll work. You could also use the newer parts - GM P/N 20784688; or 20784687(for FE5, but should still work fine).

You have the 2.4, so it's a 2LT, so it's got FE3 suspension. Should be on the glovebox sticker.

Look for FE1 or FE3 on that glove box sticker.
Just to clarify, what failed in the Moog sway bar end links?
I’ve had mine for several years without any problems.
According to this site Moog offers a lifetime warranty.

Just as a slight clarification, in 2006 the 2.4 was optional on the 1LT, so it doesn't have to be a 2LT. I have 3 2006 1LTs with 2.4s.

Dang, little brain fart. Thanks for the tune up Steve!

2.4 = LT1 = FE1 OR LT2 = FE3(like Oldblue was hinting at)

2LT the Suspension was FE1 Standard or FE3 optional.
No hints , just the facts.
