Which way to lower?

I was wondering if anybody else has asked this yet, which lowering springs are the best in this great forums opinion? I have never heard of GLS before I came to this forum, and Eibach I heard of but no nothing about. Is there anybody else out there? I might consider bags, I am already in the process of bagging another project car :D , but need to still make this a daily driver. Any info would be apprectiated and hopefully this doesn't start a fued, but just wondered what you all thought. Thanks.

A quick search for lowering will yield many threads on this subject :thumb: :thumb:

Gold Line 2nd Gen here. Love them, not to low and still get a great profile.

Along this same topic, I'm still researching about lowering my HHR. I recently used a paint stick, placed it on top of each tire and measured from there to the fender. The rear showed ~3.5" and the front showed ~3". Now, as far as I know this is stock. Leveling springs would not work as it would drop the rear too much, although I've pretty much ruled leveling out as I want to drop the front too.
My question is, should there be more of a difference between the front and rear stock height? Should I be concerned?
Before you ask, it has 31k+.
Thanks.

Each vehicle will vary slightly, but there are a lot of things that can affect the measurements. Did you measure this on flat, level ground? Did you try measuring both sides? Have anything loaded in the back?

To answer your questions; yes, no, and no. And the gas tank is ~1/2 full.

I just thought I'd ask as before I drop mine.

Thanks.

I have Eibachs and am very happy with them. Smooooooth ride and great looks w/o worrying about scraping.

Haven't lowered yet, butI'm going with the Gold Lines. They seem to have the static drop I want, and since they are being discontinued I figure I better get them now. Hope to get them on soon.:D
