The XP-20 design was a Harley Earl project, but there is no mention of when it was designed, just when it was built, and badged the F-88

Blue- That's it.. I know bubble cars get hot, but I would like hitting our Cruise in show in this one.. PS: I can't confirm this, but I think it may be the little old lady from Pasadena. :twothumbs:
John- Agreed, those antennas are pretty wild. (Copy-n-paste) Dream cars from the early 1950s borrowed heavily from jet aircraft styling, like the futuristic Ford FX-Atmos. Appearing at the 1954 Chicago Auto Show, the FX-Atmos featured a glass dome roof, tail fins, rocket exhaust taillights and needle-like radio antennae protruding from front fender pods. The radical cackpit had a center-mounted driver’s seat and 2-passenger rear seats. Dual handgrips replaced the normal steering wheel and the dash-mounted “Roadarscope” radar screen provided highway information. |

Sharp, looks like a cross between a '57 Chevy and a '57 Caddy, Is it a BEL-DORADO? john
