That's the best! I love Kim Mitchell! Back in the '80s. a MI kid had to defend him down south. TN, to be exact. I told them "Go for a Soda" was the equal of "7 Bridges Road". I DO sing - fairly well, but they claimed he "produced" those vocals. I ended up an outcast... I still think that's a great song. P on any doubters.

I know he was a DJ, but so was Peter Wolf (J. Geils Band singer). Love them, too.

Anyway, I have a new submission. You need volume, and a bit of time. This is a band I saw in Chattanooga in 1984, and they were struggling. I could see it... However, this is Southern Rock at its best!

Starts off slow, but gets you moving. G/L here in 2017!

I love 3 Dog Night. I saw them in a small concert in about 1986, and they were great. I think their vocalist was the Grand Funk RR guy, who I also love...

Opened for The Monkees. The Monkees were better than I expected. I had been led to believe they were frauds, but they could play, dance, and entertain.

Either Shambala or this one is my fave, but I hope you 2 enjoy this:

(note the clowning on stage...)

I am a fan of mid-tempo love songs, and this is one of the all-time best. After you are together 20-25 years, slow isn't what it once was...

Glad I could help. I love that song. She has good taste.

If nothing else, she picked you... or, you picked her, and she went with it.
