Are you guys replacing the OEM flywheel? I am trying to find a place to install my KY Stage 3, but I have a couple of places telling me (sight unseen) that I should replace the flywheel, not resurface. Any thoughts?

It's best just go new and the flywheel is cheap enough to have that peace of mind.

For what these people are wanting to install it, I think I'm going to have to do it myself! $1700 for labor?

I haven't found many good shops. The $1700 was RPM Automotive here in Jax. Called the dealer, they'll do it for $900, which is better. I was hoping for ~$600.

Another note, based on your recommendation, I'll pick up a new OEM flywheel from GMPartsDirect prior to the install and have it thrown in too.

I might just do that. You getting it done over at Lashaway?

Once you get it put in, let me know how things go. I need about 3 weeks to get the rest of the funds together, but I may get you to give me a recommendation then.
