I have found that it doesn't matter what the subject mater of a forum is, but more often than not solutions are not posted.

Mines been doing that for six years, right at 40. A couple years back I test drove a newer low mileage one but it did the same thing at 50, I dont know why. Probably bad TCM programming.

I answered all the questions from my 2007 2.2 auto , non VVT, shift problems.
I now have the 2011 2.4 VVT , automatic. It shifts a little later then the 07 , no pending codes
but I will investigate the solenoid problems, as I am not confident of the parts , OEM or replacements of questionable quality
