Never experinced any of those things.
Only time I feel traction control is from a dead stop on a sheet of ice. And then anyone without TC sits and spins. And I have to go around them.

Or if I happen to pass over a sheet of ice and try to accelerate. Other than that it never kicks in. If it's kicking in full time you must be doing laps on a ice rink.

But hey what do I know? this is only Minnesota, we only have 9 month of winter and 3 months of road construction. :roflol:

I founnd the other "ghost" posts. Seems like a few guys thought it funny hiding them on me? Well I guess it was. :D

Back to T.C. I guess I will try it both ways and see what I like best.
Maybe all year HHRs arn't the same?
When everyone else is driving 20 mph in slop, I just throw my f150 into 4 wheel and go.

TC sucks. I hate it. However, when you're gunning it onto a highway from and on-ramp and hit a slick patch or slush or ice, it will keep you going straight. My Cobalt SS would skate the front end either to the left or right relatively violently as she bit the trackable patches. It had the LSD and the TC was almost nonexistent when compared to my current HHR.

The ESC on the other hand... that is interesting. I both LOVE and hate it too. I just dislike not being in ABSOLUTE control of my vehicle. I know the average driver is oblivious to traction and how torque transfer affects the chassis and suspension, but damn. I swear. If I take a turn ever so slightly too quickly and tap the brakes causing ONE tire to slow significantly (I am aware of it, and it is not a concern since I am in control)-the ESC will buzz and level it out, almost like I don't have a choice in the manner to which I drive.
