How did you black out the marker lights? Do they still shine at night?

You can take 2 routes on this ... either VHT nightshade spray paint
or vinyl overlay. i choose to do the vinyl overlay so that one
day if i sell the car i can remove it. i removed the bulbs though but with
the vht nightshade paint, do 3-6 coats and u can still see the light.

Does the night shade come in different colors? Is it intended for lenses? Can you use it on bulbs themself? And where is it sold-I never noticed it at my local Strauss store, but then they dont even carry the markers for coloring the letters on tires.

you can order it online at like jegs.com i think
there is several stores around here that carry vht nightshade

i wouldnt use the spray paint on the bulbs them selves
and i have only seen it in black , hence its calld "night" shade

Did you paint yours on the inside or outside? Inside would make it look glossy when it is mounted (I used to race R/C cars and the bodies are clear plastic and painted inside).

Add one for vinyl. I for one, dont want any BS from the cops. I went with vinyl. They still let the light through and blend in nicely during the day. Mine's white and it looks awesome.

I like what you've done with your ride. It's different, so there will be haters, but that's why I like it. Paint your headlight housings black and black the tails or switch to black LED's to complete the blackout look!
