its not a primer. it is actually silver metallic. its got the flakes in it. you can see kind of a shine to them. check them out.

Now you need to go to the Dealership Parts Department and purchase the Red in color GM SS for the doors. That would really set it off. It looks nice

dude im glad you said that. i was looking in ebay the other day and yall know the SS symbols they got there. well i want to get it and put it were the LS used to be (if you havent noticed i also debagded the LS on the gate). Rudy, the red ones, eeee i dont know since my car is in orange but the white ones from ebay would be nice. thanx for reminding me. like a good neighbor, rudy is there.

That's what I was about to ask. Did you buy the silverstone boards off of ebay or something? Not knocking your ride by any means because I love the rims and so forth but IMO the running boards seem kind of out of place being a different color. Are you planning on two toning the rest of your HHR or painting the boards to match?

well i did buy them off ebay from this GM parts dealer. i was thinking if i put them on now it would match the handle, grille and so on. it was on purpose. i tried to make a look a little two tonish.

It does sorta-kinda blend the front and rear wheels together, a po-man`s 2tone.

At least the intake is working functionally again! Good work man! Keep it up and go with whatever color you decide you want. If its orange and you're trying the Pumpkin approach.. sounds good. There's also Tigger or Tony The Tiger.. That would be Grrrrrrr-eat!
