totally has gone out the window, saturday i was getting 33 or so on the highway at 55mph today i was pullin down 25! @ 55mph. not sure what the issue might be, tires seem to be ok rolling on 225/30r20s for those who might want to know. its just so wierd that all of the sudden BOOM! bad mileage, any ideas???

What are you using for the basis of your mileage, trip computer or actually figuring it out? Trip computer is very inaccurate for doing this comparison. Especially going from one week to the next, and under what conditions, same driving, same route, same weather conditions?

 

Are you sure a very fat lady didn't crawl in the back and fall asleep ??

 

using the mileage thingy on the dic i know its not all that accurate but still even if its not right i know 25 is less than 33 under the same conditions, sorta sunny little bit wet in the morning flat surface yada yada yada, i have an idea at what to look for but i was wondering if anyone else had a random issue with bad gas mileage or seemingly bad...

 

Have you reset the DIC mileage and speed, or just letting it accumulate?

 

UMM possibly, i forgot to lock my car last night!.... could be one of those drifter types hahaha

Same brand and rating of gas, or whatever is cheapest?

 

went from low grade shell to 76 premium although i had to rob a bank first...

 

Your wasting your money using premium.

You probably just got a bad tank. Go back to what you were using and see if it returns to normal.
