Octane Boosters or not?

I have to drive a ways to get 93, I want 93 as a minimum now and after all mods are finished.

Is there any brand that actually works well and does not harm engine?

I grabbed some Turbo 108 the other day and according to the directions once they are understood(which are misleading) a full bottle in a 16 gallon tank will raise octane points 4. The auto parts store guy was trying to tell me it's super powerful when attempting to figure out the directions, but after leaving and reading it more carefully it's obvious it's not as powerful as advertised. You'd need 3 full bottle to raise octane 7-8 points in a 16 gallon tank

So I figured since my HHR like all I'm sure has a 16 gallon tank I filled with 91 and added a half a bottle so I'm somewhere near 93 I hope.

Anyway just wondering if there are any brands a guy could use with every tank that is safe and effective?

I run 87 regular unleaded in our 07 2.4 2LT.
It runs fine and I don't see the benefit to paying the massive increase in price to go up to mid or hi grade.
Also, octane boosters raise the octane so very little. Does 4 points not mean going from 91 to 91.4? Not 95....They are not worth it.....or so I have read.

I suppose if you are running with a turbo and want to race a lot then a little higher octane may help you. In my case a very high octane may not be good and may cause damage to the piston and cylinder walls.

Just givin' my two cents worth.
