Share your MPG with other HHR owners

this site, FuelEconomy.gov lets you log in, record your fuel purchases, or MPG and then share with others to see, breaks down the HHR to HHR FWD and HHR Panel. Then breaks then down further by engine size and tranny. so log on, and compare

I've been meaning to get my data into a spreadsheet to do an analysis but I've been too lazy. I have about 90% of my gasoline reciepts for the last 40 years with the odometer readings for each fill up.

I would love to figure out my approximate fuel cost and fuel economy but that is a lot of data to enter into a spreadsheet.

I already log my numbers on this site. If you pull up the 2009 HHR FWD 5 speed manual, I'm the sole listing.

I just got home from Colorado. I managed to squeeze 42.5 mpg out of mine, driving 55 mph, and keeping A/C use to a bare minimum. This figure was logged between Aurora, CO., and Amarillo, TX. This is also a downhill biased stretch.

Nice find JimZ_HHR. Do you know about http://fuelly.com ? It lets you easily see what kind of gas mileage other people with your same vehicle are getting. I don't believe it breaks it down into as specific as the fueleconomy.gov site but is still really cool.

I use the Add a Note feature to document any maintenance done on my cars.
