This sounds like a reasonable plan, and since a good portion of Ecotec motors are either out of warranty or close to it, this would be a good time for someone to jump into the market. Not sure how many HHR owners will bite, but I can see the Cobalt guys going for it.

And to answer to poll question (sort of):

If I have the funds, it is something I would like to do.

I have the interest now, and working my butt off on overtime, but the overtime might not be there then, and there are other things I want to do to my HHR as well.
