whats that light that is just infront of the rearview mirror on the headliner?

 

An ambience light to light up the area around the console where the window switches are.

 

Mood lighting, candle is too dangerous.

 

It is the light that makes you wish you had a proper dome light like the 09.

 

1st time you drive at night, you will realize the importance of this led.

 

I think its ok, I kind of like that led, plus it is very functional at night, at least on my 2007. Makes it easy to tell if the headlights are on, during the day, for instance in rain, or marginal light. If the little blue lite is on, the front blinders are on too.
