Hi Everyone,
Yes I know it has been sometime, but I have been really busy with my move and all that good stuff, but I had to share this with you guys. Today I have had my "Elvis" for 1 year. I call it "Elvis", because today is the anniversary of his death, and I LOVE him, lol. So when I bought the car my daughter wanted me to name it, so being the Elvis fan that I am, I realized the date and now that is my HHR's name. Anyways, today I have had my HHR 1 year, and still have NOT one complaint! Ok well there is one, I really thought that there would be MANY more cosmetic "mods" to play with. So all last week I told my family that today I am spending the entire day cleaning, pampering and driving my baby. I even told my daughter when she left today to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ELVIS, lol, and she did!!!! What a sport! 1 year later and I still LOVE my "new" car as if the day I purchased it. I honestly can't believe it has been that long. I know that people have had issues with their HHR's, and I can honestly say that the only thing I had problems with was the "chrome" door handles wrinkling, but since they have been replaced I have taken the advise of my great friends from this site and rub them in sunscreen so that would not happen anymore. Ok, lol, I really did not do that, but it sounded good living in Florida. Ok well I'm sure that someone will say something about this being posted here so I better go, just wanted to share my 1 year thoughts with you guys!!!! Hope you are still enjoying your rides as much as I am mine. Ok "Elvis" is calling my name, so gotta run....

 

Elvis. Glad to hear you love it as much as the day you bought it. These cars really are a gem. So what is Elvis getting for his birthday?

Thank you. Ok I will tell, I got him a shiny disco ball to hang from the rear view mirror, and HE LOVES IT, lol! My 3 favorite things all together, Elvis, my HHR, and disco balls. How could anyone go wrong with that?

Thank you!!! We had a blast, running around town, all cleaned up, even shampooed the carpets, not that they needed it but I just wanted to do it, blasting the Elvis CD, honking our horn, lol, just making people look. I promise not to be a stranger anymore!
