Thumbs up 1000 posts...

I bought my 08 2LT the day I turned 5 years sober. 12/11/07. Joined up here soon after that and was looking for a forum that had both enthusiasts and hopefully experienced tech help. Thanks to ChevyMgr, Brad for all his help too.

1000 posts later, I can honestly say that I have found all that and much more. I have found some great new friends in the SoCal group. Angie, Tim, Todd, Kris, Cheri and Dorian, Lou and Lianna, Ellen, Marshall and Becca, Darryl, Rene and Mr. B, Kim and Doc, Al, Josh, Matt, Leon and wife, new guys Chris and Chris. I truly enjoy our get togethers and hope to do much more.

My car has been good to me. Almost 8 months now and I only have 4200 miles. I have discovered why I get such terrible gas mileage around town ( a new record for low miles per tank, 200! ) My daily driving rarely gets me above 30 - 35 MPH so Im not in the lock up mode too often. Highway mileage is 30's so I know it's not broke. The car was built in the 9th month and in Mexico, that's partyin' time Amigos! There are a few flaws here and there.

Done lot's of mods and each time I say it's done, well it's not. LOL. Very likely will be getting an 09 SS in some form. I figure if Im to get the low MPG I want some more fun as a trade off.

Thats the Story So Far..........

I'm going on a year on this forum and concur with all you said, Don.
Great people, and even better friends who I would still keep as friends even if I didn't have Blackie. You all remind me to be grateful for what I have instead of what I don't.

Congrats Don and yes you do make some good friends on here. I think with our little group that keeps growing we are like a family and would help each other out in just about anything we would need whether it is a mod on a car or an ear for listening.
