Yup, that's definitely a Ship of Theseus fraud. You cannot legally title a vehicle with a VIN swapped from another vehicle. That's what got Unique Performance shut down in Texas too. Those guys are playing with fire.

My question is if you know this is fraud, then why admit it to someone via email???

The car looks complete, you should ask them what they replaced by getting the secod car.

I may be able to guess at what was replaced from 2nd car. the VIN tags.

They may think that since they didn't do it they are covered. But just like with odometer fraud, if you sell it, you are at fault!
