My passenger rear door will close but will not latch. The door won’t stay closed. What part do I need to fix this?

By "latch" do you mean it doesn't stay closed or it doesn't lock?

 

It doesn’t stay closed.

 

Then I would try to flip the catch to see if it is stuck in one position or the other. I have seen them get out of phase; latched when open.

 

Welcome to the site, yes try that, the latch may be already in the closed position, if not you will need to replace the latch assembly, we have a guy here who parts out HHR’s he should be able to provide you with that part you need.

i have them and yes they do break and do what u are saying they will not latch and just open up i just did a front driver door doing the same thing lmk if u need one 20. shipped
