I have to drive 1200 miles each way! I hope gas doesn't go up much more between now and then.

At least once you get here, you'll be okay. Saw a report on the news that said that Missouri has the lowest gas prices in the country.

WOW, You all are too nice. I am very humbled.

Let me re-run the numbers. $40 is great...I figured the gas alone at $4.43 per gallon (premium as that is what I burn in the 2.4 engine) will cost approximately: $325 for a 2,200 mile round trip. Less $40 from you wonderful people brings it down to: $285. Now I gotta figure food for the trip for 18 people (yeah, I'm gonna' cram 18 relatives in the HHR...) ok...just kidding.

Anyway, let me see what the total budget will now be. Money is very tight right now with the twins starting college in fall. Stay tuned...

And by the way, no one called my "bluff", I was being very honest.

Peace,

Barry

We all know the economics of traveling for something like this, it's gonna be a stretch for many. Remember, there's always next year.
