2008 LT value ??
CatDaddy and I were just laughing today about how the grass is always greener, and we always like what the other guy has. :-) You guys are oooh-ing about a white one, which I have, and I like the blue ones best. And so it goes...... God Bless, Marc
I paid $11,600 for my 2008 SOM 2LT, 2.4L with 23k miles back in May. It does not have leather, sunroof, or roof rails but has everything else including remote start, fog lights, traction control, aluminum wheels, subwoofer, etc.
It is now just about to turn 40,000 miles.

I would say you got a good deal.
But the white (I'm thinkin of the possibilities) could be cool 2 toned..
Or a sweet 'pearl' overlay coat(s)... Just takes $$..
Clue- that does sound like a good deal...
I worked pretty hard for that deal searching and searching. I couldn't make a deal locally and ended up finding this one via ebay about 3 hours away in Illinois. The EXACT same car (with same mileage, color, options) locally was $12,900 after I negotiated the best deal I could get so I gladly drove the 3 hours. After I got there the dealer even beat my pre-approved loan I had by another .5 percent.
This was back in May still before all the new deals and no one locally was willing to budge more than a couple hundred dollars.

That's pretty cool the dealer shaved another .5 off the rate..
I'm hoping to wrap up my deal early this week.. Time will tell..
I got then down pretty decent.. But it was a battle.. Kinda like playing poker.. & the game ain't over yet..
I see some good deals in Illinois still.. But too far for me..Theres a Cardinal Red metallic Panel LS there now...$11,500 with less than 5K miles..

I paid $11,500 for mine brand new, but it is a LS with 5 speed. (with 1000 gm card money so really 12,500) I would say the HHR is one of the best values if you get a deal on one like I did. What other car out there has all the standard features for this price, not even a hyundai accent could match it. (if you get all the features the HHR has standard) Also, it seams to hold its resale a little better that some american cars, (compare used prices to say a cobalt, or focus, or PT cruiser)
