I went to the car show and seen it first hand I don't know about conversion but the pt truck was about the cost of 3 brand new hhrs. The pt was at SEMA. The HHR pickup was a black 06 salvage HHR. Here are the some of pics of the HHR pickup also the bed lefts up has the spare in former backseat and extra stuff in storage compartment. he he i touched it too

Custom upholstery

front

Gets two thumbs up from me

Those look fantastic! Kind of a "Pimp My Ride/Eddie Bauer Edition" look to them. :) Particularly clever use of what looks to be the factory roof rails.

Well done.

I hope I don't get banned for saying this but, I think I like the looks of the pt truck better. Maybe it because I've seen it before on some hotrod build up show or I think it was an episode on youtube where they were talking about it. Maybe after I get used to seeing it it'll grow on me. Is that still considered an HHR? Or should it now be a HHT Heritage Hot Truck

Awesome! I love that red and the brake vents in the rear fenders are a nice touch too. Love the mags and the way the exhaust and running board are integrated in the side. I did notice the dual tips out back, so which ones are functional?
