2009 2.4l chevy hhr

Okay. I need some help figuring out what vehicles have. The 2.4 l ecotic that the 2009 Chevy HR uses there's so much information out there that I'm having a hard time deciphering what I can use and what I can if someone can help me with this. I would greatly appreciate it. Because the motor in my h.H.R two thousand nine has a blown motor and I need to replace it but i'm having a difficult time figuring out what vehicles I can pull a motor from any and all help is greatly appreciated...

P s if you're going to make a comment Being a jackal , then please skip on only helpful information only , please

You can contact your local wrecking yard. They will have a list of interchangeable engines. Such as a Cobalt will fit.
Our suggestion on this site has always been to replace a HHR engine with a donor from the same year HHR. That way it is a straightforward swap.

So, you want to start like Facebook? Did you ask something that would lead to jackal behavior? If so, try re phrasing. Civil begets civil.
What is so difficult about it? The easiest way is to ask your local junkyard; they have very sophisticated software. The other way is to look for a 2009 HHR with a 2.4. Another way is to GoOgle "ecotech engine" There is a WIKI page devoted to it that explains the differences and the applications.

Welcome, an LE9 from any GM variant will fit and connect to all the sensors. There are many websites selling new , used, remanufactured engines.

The first part of your comment is the type of thing Im asking not to post. I didnt start off like anyone with my post.the second part is the preferred type of information im asking for. I only asked that people refrain from making the type of comments that you have made. Were they necessary? Were they relevant to the topic? And I agree with your comments though. Civil does beget civil. That why I asked for information about the vehicle not the snide comments. But I do appreciate the information that you did provide.

The LE9 is a flex fuel engine
the LE 5 is just a gasoline engine

your ECM won’t work properly with the LE5

Only difference is the camshafts. An LE 5 will fit , but you’ll have to transfer all the sensors. You won’t be running flex fuel anymore either.

Don't forget the injectors. They're bigger with ethanol-compatible seals, I think.

Curious; what sensors need to be swapped and why?

I once wondered if the phasers would be different, because the cam timing adjustments are more aggressive w/ E85, but it seems all the parts listings are the same.
