The SS has a smaller cubby hole, at least in the manual, because the shifter is moved forward a couple inches.

While waiting for my car to have some work done to it yesterday I checked out the 1 2009 HHR they had on the lot.....it was a Imp Blue all decked out with everything except leather. Interior is still that cheesy (imho) gray cloth which I think is due for an upgrade. I think that the window switches moving to the door would mess me up..lol..I'm so used to then being on the dash and our other car is a 04 Vue which also has the center window switches

From a few feet away it looked outstanding...that deep blue and the chrome rims really look great...getting closer especially where the right headlight meets the body work, it looked awful! No damage from a hit but the gap and seam of how they line up was horrendous..was not impressed with the build quality there, thats for sure

Nice car but if I had to replace my HHR and spend that kind of $$ and I somehow decided to stay with GM I'd get a Malibu..that is one sharp looking ride

I want the window switches, bigger "cup" in front of shifter, and the "dual" domelights!!

Why didn't they do these things from the beginning? Well at least they are trying to keep improving it, even if overall the changes are pretty minor.

Hopefully they come out with a part that makes it work. All the controls and mic's are there.

Chevy website

I know they want to get rid of the 2008's, but it drives me crazy that you can't 'build' a 2009 HHR on the chevy site.
