Yeah, I wonder how long I would have to hold onto that stuff before I could find someone that needed the other pieces. I really only need the driver's side fender, headlight, hood, grille, condenser, radiator support and maybe the front bumper cover. You guys are all over it though. I found the headlight for $55 local on a 08 in a junk yard. I wonder how can I confirm that an 08 radiator support and condenser would work on an 09 SS. Going to test drive an 09 SS tonight to get a feel for the beast.

 

Part the pieces you don't need on E bay as in individual parts they should sell.

 

Ok so I found most of the parts I need from an aftermarket dealer. I can't find a driver's side airbag though. The dealer wants $750 for it. I wonder if the bag is the same in the cobalt or the 08 HHR.

 

The air bag is the same across the 06-09 HHR range.The Cobalt bag is a different part number but may work as the difference MAY only be cosmetic.

 

Thanks Tony. I am having a hard time finding an air bag. I have been looking on ebay and I can't find anything under $400. Also, anybody know where I can find factory HHR pinstriping? The one I am looking at has a thick pin stripe that has HHR on the back quarter panel but since it extends over the fender and hood I will need to replace it.

 

could always use a powerwasher to remove the rest of the pinstriping.

 

I like the pin stripe I just need a replacement. Anybody put dual exhaust on their HHR? Is there a different rear bumper cover to use with duals?

 

I would not put aftermarket parts on my brand new car.........
