found a lot of good info like egg shape hole that needs adapters and more

6 3/4 inch speakers.

Broken items that need replacing do not work at all. sounds like loose wiring somewhere.

Sounds like that’s a possibility, however door speakers are susceptible to water damage and are known to short out internally in the speakers usually corrosion in the magnet. So no loose wires just rusty speakers
