I would have already purchased it! It might be gone by now and all this would be moot!

Yes. Good observation and I have been aware of that as well and have already started negotiations.
My only real hang up now is shipping.
Because of the location there are very very few Carriers that will go there to pick it up. No half way reasonable bid so far.
It's 3 day trip to go get it and the weather is now changing for the worse.
The car has the original Firestone tires about half worn and it is a gamble to cross 2 passes comming back. My wife would have to be the return driver and she is not to hot on the idea with snow in the forecast.
So.... I will be working on the shipping today to see if I can get thru this possible deal killer.

Sweetie suggests fly there , drive it back. If all else fails. Best of luck! It will be worth the effort!

Sweetie is very creative but when I suggested I might take a flight my wife turned white ???

It's kinda like the Spider/Snake thing.

They have just a small airport there and it is out in the Boon Docks. Smaller planes only.

I might have made some headway this am with shipping but to soon to be certain.

I am not endorsing, but have you tried uship.com, that the website the yahoos on "Shipping Wars" on A&E network are promoting.

Right on Don,

I have an open U ship Auction going on as I type. Just have to be selective on this one.

Also have a previous carrier working on it and they are getting close too.

Keeping fingers crossed. It's nice clean HHR.

This has been like a contest to get all the Jelly Beans in the jar while the clock is Ticking.....

When I was driving for a living I looked into them, I don't know how they can live on how cheap people expect.

Yes that's the case a lot of the time.

I carefully look at all the bids and seldom consider the low one.

I read the reviews and any other telling info and try not to be in a big sweat to grab the first decent bid that comes in.

I had to laugh when I got an extremely low bid from a Florida broker.
They have someone just looking at the OA mileage and throwing out a bid.
The pick up location is a long 4 hours off the beaten path with a toll bridge or possible ferry fee to boot.

I regret that now I'm not on annual leave.
Just had an idea - to see the United States as an independent tourist. At the same time improve my English (it still limps on all 4 legs).
The only thing that stopped me - lack of car to move. Rental - unjustifiably expensive + many restrictions.
I could bring you your HHR. A good way to look at the United States out of the car window, and even make a few bucks.
But ...
