And on top of all that sometime in the 2009 M.Y. if RS was deleted you do not have the option in the DIC. So, if your 2009-2011 does not have the enable/disable option in the DIC menu you DO NOT ha factory installed RS.
I know for sure that 2008 M.Y. the only difference AP3 no AP3 was the deletion of the wiring harness and the switch in the latch. It was possible to add a switch wire and enable RS. Not sure about 2006-2007, especially with a different RCDLR and optional TPMS.

I checked no wire to hood latch, window sticker from 10(dont have for the 11) says remote start included with auto trans and LT2, this was not a fleet vehicle according to vin, just weird deal, can this be turned on using a Tech II tool at a GM dealership ? have not checked the DIC but will today, thanks for all the help, Rob

If there is no hood switch and no option in the DIC the answer seems to be np.
It might be possible to get new firmware from TIS2WEB. If you don't know what that means, then no. If you plan to go to Radley or Ultimate, forget it their techs are clueless.

Have you checked the DIC as suggested ? If the RS disable/enable is not there, then your's mostly has that deleted. Since you don't have the wiring to the hood latch, then it would be seem that your's could not have RS.
I have a 5 speed, so no wires at the hood latch because there is no RS for stick shifts.
And just because it's bugging me. HHR's are 2LT's. Not LT2.

I hope it is not the guy that could not find my RCDLR. Either physically or with the Tech2.
It is the 2010 that has "standard with 2LT & auto" 2011 it was an option to have it.
I think that the MSRP sticker price of 2011 was lower than 2010?

Sadly, if you do not have the code, it did not come with it.
That was one of the downsides to the LT that made me trade up to an SS.
EVERY SS with AT has remote start. Maybe you should keep shopping?
