22 days till it returns

Well I just found out 22 days till I get my car back. Total damage on the car repairs will be just shy of 6k. Not as bad as I thought but glad that it not comming out of my pocket. At least I hope they ins companies agree the other party has to pay. She did make a left hand turn in front of me sooo For some reason neither company can seem to get a hold of her and get her side of the story. Sounds guilty to me. But I am not the judge
So 22 more days of a rental and I should have my car back, and have to redo some of the mods I had put on.

I can't imagine being without mine that long. My stereo hasn't worked for a week, so I parked it. Couldn't take it anymore...I'm now driving in silence, but in lot's of style!

I wish you well in your wait. Mine was gone for almost a month just for a door. Pray they get the replacement parts you need.

That's great news my friend. Glad it wasn't as bad as originally anticipated. Hopefully the time will fly and you'll have the HHR back in you hot little hands before you know it.

Do you have the calendar by your side counting down the days?

Your right since th crash I will have saved about 1500 miles. I am sure once I get it back I will put that on it in no time.
At least I have the LS as a rental so I still get to drive with some style.
And no Cpt I am not marking off the days as of yet give me another week then I will,

Great to hear Dwayne. And obviously, as you have stated, I bet you can't wait.

Any chance you can convince the insurance company that you need to drive it for a week before "signing off"???

I have no idea about that Snoopy. I am sure my company would let me, but since the other company is paying hard to say.

found out today as I went to sign the ok for them to start working they still are not sure about the frame. Will not know that till later today or next week.
So the time frame change and the cost.
I seen the car today for the first time since the crash, and all I can say is WOW what a mess the grill bumpers and hood are.
And if anyone ever wondered like I did about the airbags once the have been used, I was told they replace every little thing with the airbag. Even if a part looks ok, it is trashed. Once that is done, everything is as good as it was on the showrrom floor.
