Makes my 2007 with 37,000 on it seem like a baby. Good to know they can go that long, though.

141,000 and going strong changed front wheel bearings front struts intake and exhaust cam position solenoids due to traction control issues found fix on forum here i put in led floor lights in interior ( couldn't see floor at night ) painted front grill and put in aux 12 volt outlet by hood release for gps to alleviate wires across dash.
Love My HHR LT2

I just turned 211k and havent had a major issues, runs 185 deg pretty much all the time, had the thermostat replaced 2 years ago and have the rad flushed evey 2 years, trans flushed every 100k, plugs every 80k, did front wheel bearing hubs at 140k, on 3rd set of tires, 3rd set of front brakes, did struts & shocks at 150k, shocks again at 205k, updated shifter cuz the pin inside would come loose and then the key wouldn't come out, replace belt twice, sway bar endlinks, had to take it in for a "low power output" light but it was caused because of me punching the gas on some ice and it lost settings on throttle posistion sensor. I run Moble 1 and a Wix filter change it when I get to 25%-20%(5k miles), It still runs great, I would bet it go over 300k no problem.

That's a little more than 3 times the mileage that we have on our 06. We've had no major problems with ours but there is not a chance that we'll still own it when it hits that mileage.

I am now at 315,582 and it is still running great. I am going to give it a break at Christmas and New Years though.

Struts and shocks at 40k miles would not be unusual. Remember, it's an 07, so it is 6 years old.
It's not just mileage that wears out parts. Sometimes it's the age or a combo of both.

I would say if they are leaking then you do need to replace them. Be careful out there on the streets.

deliveryman you are my hero. I am right at 200,000 hard miles. I have a desk in the passenger seat that is grey like the grey leather interior. And if someone else wants to sell a straight one with bad motor call me. An engine rebiuld is cheaper that a new car. My record for one drive straight is Las Cruces NM to Young Harris Ga. 23 hours 5 minutes last october 1578 mile. The hhr was a screamer avg 29 MPG. And where is temple ga? I should buy lunch one day.

Temple is out I-20 west of Atlanta and about 20 miles from Alabama. I haven't been past Texas on a delivery so I guess you have me beat on that one. I did go out of town 4 out of 5 days last week. I have my laptop in the passenger seat which I use for a GPS. Lunch would be great also.
