Talking 9 foot Christmas tree in my HHR.

I realize that this thread should have pics, but too late. Hind-sight 20-20

Picked up our 9' tall Fraser Fir Christmas Tree, last week. I keep a drop cloth in a storage bin, folded down pass front seat. Spread drop cloth & loaded all 9 foot of that Beautiful tree, top in first.. Wrapped tree in cloth, shut lift gate, with a lil room to spare & was off to our lil Ponderosa...

Only issue was trying to see out the pass side mirror. Somewhat obstructed, not totally.

So we're all ready for Santa to stuff goodies under......

I haul a Soap Box Derby car regularly that is just over 6 foot. The axle on the front is rignt up against the driver seat.

If it were not for the Axle another 3 feet would not be an issue.

The rear question here is did you have to cut any off get it up in the house of was the ceiling high enough to handle the 9 foot and the stand. They always look smaller when you buy them. LOL!

That's cool about the Soap-Box Derby car, & hauling it.. Got some room in our rides...

Our liv room ceiling is vaulted to 16', so a 9' is not a problem.. Just that last year I had the S-10 to haul the tree.. When we lived in Fla. trees were crazy expensive, now (outta Fla) we pay less & get Lots more !!!!

SHADOW(IN)-

I don't think I'm ready to haul caskets....

I regularly haul 8' lumber in the HHR. fold down the seats, they fit right in between the dash and the rear hatch. The ability to haul supplies, or haul my kids was why the HHR was my choice to start with.

Yes I agree. Gotta be able to haul stuff & still be looking good too...
The front fold down seat really makes a big diff to me..

All while getting Great gas mileage..

That was the biggest thing I hauled (so far)...
