I've been looking for something like this, it's ordered.....

 

Unfortunately my Radio in my 2008 does not have a USB port so I have the PAL auxiliary device installed and the cable runs up into the top compartment on the dash so the cable is not long enough to come out of that compartment. I suppose I could get an extension cable but I was hoping to avoid that and just get a stand or mount that could be put in that compartment and flip up for the phone to connect when needed.

 

Yep, I just ordered me one too. Very cool concept and since I never use my CD player, it works out great.

 

This will work great with my work traveling. Since I'm in and out of different vehicles all the time, better than having to keep my driod bionic in the holster where I can't hear it ring....... I'll toss this in my laptop backpack and be ready.
