Guys, we're working on a physical model right now. We'll have crash come back again for fitment of the physical model and then we'll be ready for production. This unit could definitely work in conjunction with a cowl induction! However the unit we're designing doesnt require a new hood nor you to cut up the stock hood. Its a true ram-air design with the pressure box as you see in pg 3.

speaking of which, would ppl prefer a coupler intake system (where the aluminum tubes are held together with silicon sleeves) or a full one piece welded tube system?

Welded would have less chance of leaking, but the silicon sleeves look pretty good. How much of a price difference would there be?

What product are you going to work on next?

I would be interested in either, just so long as it is functional.

In consideration of the DIY market, I'd go with whatever is easier for the shadetree to install with as little disassembly of the vehicle as possible.

Also, an intake that doesn't LOSE power compared to the OEM air box would be nice.

Some serious thought is required for that statement.

Here's what I would like:dual exhaust, struts/shocks or coilovers, clear tail lights, body kit...

I'm not sure if you have the capability to produce those things, but they're at the top of my list.
