air control panel

when i get in the car the air control is always on outside mix air and the ac is off. I then turn the ac on and the panel to recirculate. turn the car off it goes back to ac off and outside mix air. This is my second hhr and this did not happen on my other car. any advise. john

I believe this is the default position. It lets outside air in. If you don't want outside air just mash the recirculation button.

my first hhr would leave it in the same spot you left it in when you turn it off but this hhr set its back to no ac and vent. I like the ac on with recirculate on. I get in ond out many times a day and its a pain in the neck to reset it every time you get in. any ideas.
