Another new HHR owner
Another new HHR owner
After much searching, and waiting, I finally own an HHR.
I originally began looking at the Scion XB (2007 model), but could not get what I wanted for a trade, and the new models were coming out, which I do not like, so went to the Chevy dealer to check out the HHR. After driving the XB, the HHR drove like a Caddy! Not quite as much zing on the lower end taking off, but it makes up for it in the top end and the ride quality. After driving many and doing much research, I decided upon the Sunburst Orange, tan leather interior, 2.4 w/5spd, in the 2LT model. I had to search to find one and was about to order a 2008 when GM added the Holiday bonus cash. That made it time to find and buy now. What I purchased has a couple items I could do without (roof rack, side curtain air bags), and there are a couple things I wanted that it did not have (running boards, XM, 6 disc cd), but those are minor. It is currently sitting in the garage until I can get running boards and splash guards purchased and installed. Kind of a bummer to wait, but it gives me plenty of time to wax and polish it. I have one photo so far that I took with my camera phone, better ones will come when the mods begin.

Carrying Bikes and ROAD Bike Rides, with the above mentioned Numbers on the wall, is referencing Bicycles. So the weight limit should be a non-factor!!!
I have a reciever hitch, use a Hollywood Rack to haul my bikes. The HHR works great with plenty of room inside for gear!

Welcome to the site BTW. That's my fave color, the SOM. Next to the non-existant hot rod yellow, that is!

to the site and congrats on your new car! You made the right choice, the new Xb is
ugly.
